Firelite Lodge

This has been our spot to stay for two summer trips of ours ,coming from Monterey CA a 5hr drive , this facility made it so easy for me to book …not to mention property management was communicated with me making everything step of the way much easier as in how to check in and out answer all my questions with out hesitation , made me and my family much more enjoyable due to the fact that the lake was right across the street made it less worrying about parking.I also enjoy that it was kid friendly and very clean.Food spots and stores are only walks away.Cant wait to book my vacation with them!!!

The property was within minimal walking distance to the beach, kayak/paddle board rentals, pubic boat launch and Pep’s Place (a must go to for breakfast/lunch ) and a pizza shop. The 2 Queen beds were very comfortable with high count linens. Our room had a sliding door with screen to allow the fresh Tahoe air into the room at night. Pool was clean. Room was clean. It is an older lodge with several updates while preserving the Tahoe laid back vibe. Staff was wonderful. Our flight was delayed until after midnight and they messaged us to make sure we checked in with no issues. Check in / Check out was a seamless and peopleless process. Very efficient and effective. We will definitely recommend to those traveling to visit!

I really liked the fireplace in the room, and I appreciated the view of the lake! The room was comfortable and clean, if a bit run-down. Great base for exploring the area. The staff were not on site, but sorted out the issues with date of stay and payment admirably. The laundry facilities were helpful.

We had a view of Lake Tahoe, which was wonderful! We were here at the end of March, so it was a pretty quiet time. Gas fire place heater is a nice touch. The rooms were very clean, check in and out was super easy and the text messaging and call facilitated easy communication. Glass wine glasses and ceramic (and paper) coffee mugs were provided. Bring your own lotion, but hand soap, shampoo, conditioner and body wash are provided. If you prefer relatively flat bed pillows, bring your own, or perhaps they can accommodate upon request.

The room was quite nice, with a small dining area and an electric fireplace. This wasn't obvious but one could boil water for tea in the coffee machine (tea bags were not provided). The swimming pool was nice with the towels provided. While not present on site, the staff was extremely responsive and helpful in the booking.com chat - all my questions were answered within minutes. There was a laundromat in the hotel along with a change machine.
